The Wooden Nickel Mission was a new mission started by the Spirit on the Square in 2022 to help the community work together towards a common goal and raise money to benefit a deserving organization in our community. The Wooden Nickel Mission runs from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day. Wooden nickels are available at local businesses and may be purchased for a $5 donation that goes to a local organization selected by the Spirit on the Square Committee.
